FuMDiab sponsored, together with other private and state-owned organizations, the “IRF Certification Conference on Pro-Resolution Nutrition” organized by ZoneDiet / Argentina in the city of Santa Fe on November 7 and 8, 2019. Also, FuMDiab granted partial scholarships to Dr. Fabiana Dávila, belonging to the Diabetes Service of the Austral Hospital, and Dr. Luz Andreone, of the Laboratory of Immuno-Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the Instituto de Investigaciones en Medicina Traslacional (IIMT), to attend this conference.

FuMDiab subsidized the assistance of Dr. Luz Andreone to the LXIV Annual Meeting of the Argentine Society of Clinical Research (SAIC, November 13-16, 2019, Mar del Plata). The work presented on that occasion was awarded the Prize for the best poster in the area of Metabolism and Nutrition: “Activation of NRF2 pathway by compound A protects against oxidative stress and -cell dysfunction”.
